Church Partnerships

“When the church becomes an end in itself, it ends. When Sunday school, as great as it is, becomes an end in itself, it ends. When small groups ministry becomes an end in itself, it ends. When the worship service becomes an end in itself, it ends. What we need is for discipleship to become the goal, and then the process never ends.”

Legacy Church Partnerships

Mike Conan is a pastor in the Presbyterian Church. During his years as a head pastor, he developed a passion for reaching men. He spent four years researching how to reach men to revitalize the church, culminating in his doctoral thesis, “Revitalizing the Church through Reaching Men with Families.” Mike became convinced that the best way to reinvigorate churches was to reach men, and the best way to reach men was through disciples of Jesus reaching other men.

Legacy offers a church equipping discipleship program. Bill and Mike bring their combined 50+ years of disciple-making and come into a congregation. They help create or support a vision for disciple-making and offer resources to help men (and women) reach those around them by becoming disciple-makers themselves. They will come in for a weekend, preach on Sunday, or a training series.
